SFV | Veterans Employment Committee is a collaborative of veterans, volunteers, state, federal and nonprofit agencies and employers dedicated to assisting veterans and their families as they transition from military service to civilian life.
Here are some of the activities scheduled:
ResumeBank – Registered job seekers can have their resumes reviewed in advance by employers. (Registration Required)
On-site Interviews – Employers will have the opportunity to interview job seekers on-site. (Registration Required)
Workstations/Internet Access – Job seekers can apply for positions online
On-Site Enrollment – The US Department of Veterans Affairs will assess veterans and determine their benefit status/eligibility. (DD-214 and Photo ID Required)
Haircuts/Manicures – Styling services for job seekers.
Blood Drive – Providence Blood Centers will give us a chance to give and help others. (Advance Registration and Photo ID Required)
